MH SET Application Form 2026 Last Date Extended, Apply Till 30 June

The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has extended the last date to submit applications for the MH 41st SET 2026 Exam at the request of candidates who were unable to submit their applications online. Now, the candidates who missed the application period or failed to submit applications for any reason can apply from 17th to 30th June 2026. Also, the last date for fee submission and application form correction has been extended.

The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) is conducted every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the Assistant Professor posts. Candidates who qualify for the MH SET Examination will be appointed as Assistant Professors in the concerned universities/colleges/institutions (government/aided private) in the states of Maharashtra and Goa. The candidates preparing for 41st SET Exam must submit their applications online before the last date arrives.

The MH SET 2026 application window, originally open from 2nd to 16th June 2026, has been extended following requests from a large number of candidates who were unable to submit their forms in time. Applicants can now register without a late fee till 26th June 2026, and with a late fee till 30th June 2026, on the official portal www.setexam.unipune.ac.in. MH SET Application Fee 2026

The application fee for MH SET 2026 must be paid online through the official portal. Candidates applying within the extended window without a late fee need to pay only the standard category-wise fee, while those applying between 27 and 30 June 2026 will need to pay an additional late fee, the exact amount for which will be confirmed on the official portal at the time of submission.

How to Apply for MH SET 2026?

Candidates who missed the original deadline can still complete their registration by following the steps below. Since the application process is entirely online, it is advisable to keep all documents and payment details ready before starting.

• Visit the official SPPU SET website: setexam.unipune.ac.in
• On the homepage, click on the link “Apply for M-SET held on 26th July 2026 (Sunday)”.
• For new registration, click on “New User Registration for the SET Exam on 26th July 2026”.
• Enter a valid email ID and create a password; this email ID will become your username for future login.
• Click on “Fill Main Application Form” and carefully enter all personal, academic, and subject-related details.
• Upload a scanned copy of your photograph (50 KB, JPG/JPEG) and signature (between 5 KB and 30 KB, JPG/JPEG).
• Select your category from the dropdown menu (caste/category certificates are not required to be uploaded at this stage).
• Pay the applicable application fee online based on your category, including the late fee if applying between 27 and 30 June 2026.
• Review all details carefully and then click the final “Submit” tab.
