JTET Exam Date 2026 Out, Eligibility Test on 14 June

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the exam date for Jharkhand Eligibility Test-2024 for Advt. No. 08/2025. The entrance exam for Education (Code-009) and Oriya, Subject (Code-023) will be conducted on 14th June 2026 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm at various exam centres throughout the state.

As the exam is in 12 days, the candidates who have applied for the exam Advt. No. 08/2025 must gear up its preparation level to qualify for the exam. Start practising more questions on a daily basis to improve your performance. Take the help of mock tests and previous year question papers to prepare more efficiently. The admit card for the JTET Exam will be released on 10th June 2026, along with the complete schedule.

Note: Candidates must note that the exam is being conducted for Jharkhand Eligibility Test-2024,  and for JTET Exam 2026 (Advt. No. 24/2026) application process is going to end on 2nd June 2026 which exam date will be released shortly.

Jharkhand JTET Exam Structure 2026

Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) is a state-level exam conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). It determines the eligibility of candidates to teach in primary (Classes 1–5) and upper primary (Classes 6–8) government schools across Jharkhand.

  • Mode of Exam – Offline
  • Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Question-Based
  • Number of Questions – 150 questions (for both Paper 1 and 2)
  • Total Marks –150 marks (for both Paper 1 and Paper 2)
  • Marking Scheme – 1 mark allotted for every right answer
  • Negative marking – No, 0 marks are given for a wrong answer
