The eligible candidates who will be applying for the recruitment for the post of Naib Tehsildar in the Revenue Department have to undergo a two-stage selection process, and the candidates who qualify for both stages will be selected. The two stages of the selection process will be as follows.

J&K Naib Tehsildar 2025 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The JKSSB Selection will include 2 exams, one is a written examination, and the second is a descriptive test. Below, we have provided the exam pattern for both exams.

Written Examination

The written test will have multiple-choice questions from these Subjects:

• General English: 24 Marks
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 36 Marks
• General Knowledge with Special Reference to J&K: 24 Marks
• Knowledge of Information Technology: 18 Marks
• Mensuration, Mental Ability and Reasoning: 18 Marks

Descriptive Test

Only those candidates who qualify the Written Test (MCQ Exam) will be called for the Descriptive test, i.e., Test for Knowledge of Urdu, and will be qualifying in nature. The test will be of a total of 50 marks and candidates will have a time limit of 1 Hour.

• Reading Section (20 Marks): Candidates are required to answer questions carrying One Mark each out of the given passages.

JKSSB Naib Tehsildar Salary 2025

Candidates who clear the JKSSB Naib Tehsildar all stages of the selection process will be appointed for Naib Tehsildar posts in the Revenue Department. The appointed candidates will be offered a salary in the pay scale Rs. 35900/- to Rs. 113500/- under the Pay Level 6E.
