IGNOU Grade Card 2026 Out, Check Steps to Download & Re-evaluation

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the grade cards for all the students from undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, Ph.D., and certificate programs. The grade card carries the term-end marks as well as their assignment scores alongside their overall academic performance of all the students. Students have to provide their enrollment number and their program code to access their grade cards.

Students who have appeared for the end-term exam and have successfully submitted their assignments can now check their IGNOU Grade Card 2026 from the Indira Gandhi National Open University’s official website www.ignou.ac.in. Students who have secured the required passing marks in both theory and assignment successfully pass a subject. The grade card provides course-by-course theoretical and assignment marks, practical scores, and total percentage, along with pass/fail verification and completion verification.

How to Download IGNOU Grade Card 2026?

To download the IGNOUS Grade Card 2026, candidates can follow the steps provided below.

1. Visit the official website of IGNOU, www.ignou.ac.in.
2. Click on “Student Service”, which is mentioned under the menu bar.
3. Find the “Result, Grade Card” section and click on it.
4. Now enter your enrollment number, program code, and click on submit.
5. The IGNOU Grade Card 2026 appears on the screen.
6. Download the grade card and save it for future reference.

Steps for Duplicate IGNOU Grade Card

To get a duplicate IGNOU Grade Card, candidates can follow the steps provided below.

1. Go to the IGNOU official website www.ignou.ac.in.
2. Download the request form from the IGNOU site.
3. Fill it, attach an ID and a DD of INR 200, and mail it to the IGNOU Student Evaluation Division.
4. Mention your enrollment number and course clearly for faster processing.

IGNOU Grade Card Re-evaluation Process

The candidates who are dissatisfied with their result can also apply for re-evaluation within one month of the result declaration. Candidates have to fill a re-evaluation form, and have to pay Rs. 750 per subject, and submit it to the evaluation center. Their updated results will be declared within 45 days.

IGNOU Grading System

The Indira Gandhi National Open University grading system is based on letter grades from A to E, where A indicates excellent (80–100 marks) and E means failure (below 40). Grades are calculated based on cumulative performance.
