Finally, the wait is over for the UPTET exam, as the UPTET Exam Date has officially announced by Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) at its official website (https://upessc.up.gov.in). As per the official exam notice, the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 exam has been scheduled for 2, 3, and 4 July 2026. UP TET Exam Shift Timing
The UP TET 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode in multiple days in two shifts for Paper 1 (primary level) and Paper 2 (upper primary level). The 1st shift will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and the afternoon will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, with bilingual question papers in English and Hindi.
- Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 2:30 PM-5:00 PM

Who Can Appear for the UPTET 2026 exam?
Only those candidates who fulfill the required eligibility parameters specified by Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) and complete the UPTET Registration Form within the given time frame will be eligible to appear for the UPTET Exam.
- Fulfilling UPTET Eligibility Criteria
UPTET exam includes 2 papers. Paper 1 for Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5) and Paper 2 for Upper Primary Teachers (Classes 6 to 8). For Paper 1.
For Paper 1, candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or equivalent qualification.
For Paper 2, applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a B.Ed / D.El.Ed / B.Ed (Special Education) - Complete UPTET Registration Form
Candidates must complete their registration form through the application window, upload the necessary documents, provide accurate personal and academic information, and pay the application fee before the last date. The incomplete, incorrectly filled, or submitted without fee payment application form will be rejected.
