Under the SPMCIL India Government Mint Recruitment 2026 drive, a total of 94 vacancies will be filled for various technical and non-technical posts in the India Government Mints (IGMs) located in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Noida.

SPMCIL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Supervisor: It requires a full-time Diploma or B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline.
2. Engraver: Candidates must have done ITI in the relevant trade or a Diploma in Fine Arts/Sculpture/Metal works.
3. Junior Office Attendant: Candidates must have completed their graduation. They must have typing skills and knowledge of computers.
4. Junior Bullion Assistant: Candidates must have done graduation in Commerce or Accounts.
5. Junior Hindi Typist: Candidates must have completed their graduation and must be proficient in Hindi typing
6. Laboratory Assistant: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry).
7. Junior Technician: Candidates must have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Steps to Apply for IGM Recruitment 2026

2. On the homepage, in the top right corner, you will notice the “Career” option. Click on this link.
3. A new window will open. On the left side, you will notice “Career” under the “DISCOVER SPMCIL” menu; choose this link.
4. You will notice the “Apply Online” link beside IGM Recruitment 2026 (Advt. No. IGMN-01/2026). Click on the ” Apply Online ” link.
5. At first, complete your registration by entering your name, date of birth, email, and mobile number, and click submit. This will generate your registration number and password.
6. Now use the generated login credentials to fill out your personal, educational, and category details. Also, choose the nearest exam centre of your choice. Then click “Save and Continue”.
7. Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and other necessary documents in the specified format and size.
8. Pay the category-wise application fee online by any online mode.

IGM Selection Process 2026

IGM follows a multiple-stage selection process to shortlist candidates for various posts. Candidates must qualify each selection stage to move forward to the next stage of recruitment. The selection process will depend on the post. Candidates can refer to the expected selection process for different posts below:

1. Written exam: IGM will conduct a computer-based test to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge in technical/trade, general studies, and mental aptitude.
2. Skill Test/Typing Test: Candidates who qualify for CBT will give a relevant trade skill test or typing test, depending on their chosen post.
3. Document Verification: In this, candidate need to verify their identity, educational qualifications, and category certificates. Any mismatch may lead to the disqualification of the candidate.

IGM Exam Pattern 2026

Indian Government Mint Recruitment 2026: The 1st stage of the written exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode, consisting of objective-type questions. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awared and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. The question paper will be set in 2 subjects of Hindi and English.

IGM Exam Centre 2026

The online Examination (CBT) for all posts will be conducted in Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Typing Test on computer for Jr. Office Assistant, Junior Bullion Assistant & Jr. Hindi Typist Post will be conducted at Delhi/NCR only.
