IFFCO AGT Selection Process 2026

IFFCO will shortlist candidates through multiple stages. The recruitment does not end with a single online examination.

The selection process includes:

Preliminary Online Test → Final Online Test → Personal Interview → Medical Examination

Stage 1- Preliminary Online Test: The first stage is a computer-based online test conducted in an open environment. Candidates will have to use their own computer or laptop and internet facility for this stage.

Stage 2- Final Online Test: Candidates shortlisted from the preliminary test will be called for the final online test. This examination will be conducted in a controlled environment at designated centres.

Stage 3- Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted after the final online test will be called for a personal interview.

Stage 4- Medical Examination: Candidates shortlisted after the interview will have to undergo a medical examination according to IFFCO’s prescribed medical standards.

IFFCO AGT Exam Pattern 2026

The test will have a total of 150 questions, each with 1 mark. Agriculture will carry the highest weightage, with 100 marks allocated to it. The entire test must be completed within 45 minutes.

Final Online Test: Candidates shortlisted from the Preliminary Online Test will be called for the Final Online Test at designated centers. The exam pattern for the final test has not been released yet, but the test will be of 60 minutes.

IFFCO AGT Salary 2026

The salary structure has two stages: the training period and the possible absorption after successful completion of training.

During Training

Selected candidates will undergo one year of training and will presently receive a stipend of: Rs. 33,300 per month

After Successful Training

After successfully completing the one-year training, AGTs may be absorbed, subject to IFFCO’s requirement.

• The basic pay on absorption is: Rs. 37,000 per month
• The regular pay scale is: Rs. 37,000–70,000
• Other allowances and benefits will be provided according to IFFCO’s rules.

Candidates will be required to sign a service bond upon appointment. For those in the General/OBC category, the bond amount is Rs. 80000, while for candidates in the SC/ST category, the bond amount is Rs. 20000. The bond requires the candidates to serve a minimum of 3 years after successfully completing the training.
