Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering from any University recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE.
- The candidates who are possessing degree through the distance education mode would not be considered eligible for applying for the Assistant Engineer (Civil) post.
- The candidates who enrolled in AMIE before 31.05.2013 and cleared the examination would be considered eligible to apply for the post.

The Age limit to apply for the HPSC AE Recruitment 2024 is a minimum of 18 years, and candidates must not be more than 42 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as per the government norms.

HPSC AE Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
Candidates have to pay a fixed amount of application fees to apply online for HPSC AE Recruitment 2026. The online application fee for the General Category is Rs. 1000/-. There is an exemption for reserve category candidates and Female candidates; they have to pay Rs. 250/-.
