Haryana ADO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates need to fulfill the required Haryana ADO Eligibility Criteria 2025 as specified by the Haryana Public Service Commission to be eligible to appear for the recruitment process. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Agriculture from a recognized university.
- Additionally, they must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation or a higher level (10+2, B.A., or M.A. with Hindi as a subject).

Haryana Agriculture Development Officer Selection Process 2025
Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) will conduct the 3-stage selection process to recruit eligible candidates for Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) posts. Haryana ADO selection process includes the following stages are as follows:
- Screening Test
- Subject Knowledge Test
- Interview
Haryana ADO Exam Pattern 2025
Exam Scheme – Screening Test
The exam will contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 100 marks
- Each question carries 1 mark
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours
- Each question will have 5 options
- 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- 0.25 mark will also be deducted if the question is left blank without marking the 5th option.
- If a candidate leaves more than 10% of questions without marking any option, they will be disqualified.
2. Subject Knowledge Test – Details
The exam will be conducted in a subjective mode
- The total marks of the subject knowledge test is 150 marks
- The duration of exam is 3 hours
- Candidates must score at least 35% marks to be eligible for the next stage (Interview/Viva-Voce).
- Subject Knowledge Test carries 87.5% weightage in the final result.
The Interview/Viva-Voce carries a 12.5% weightage.
- Final merit will be calculated by adding marks from the Subject Knowledge Test and the Interview.
Haryana Agriculture Development Officer Salary 2025
Candidates who will be selected for Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) posts will be entitled to a monthly salary along with various allowances and perks. Candidates will be paid a salary of Rs. 35400 – Rs. 112400/-.
