HPSC ADO Exam Pattern 2025
There are three stages for the Agriculture Development Officer: Screening Test, Concerned Subject Test, and Interview. The Final merit will be prepared by combining marks from the Subject Knowledge Test and the Interview.
Screening Test
- There will be 100 objective questions (MCQs) for 100 marks
- Each Question carries 1 mark.
- Each question has 5 options.
- 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- 0.25 mark will also be subtracted if the question is left blank without choosing the 5th option.
- If a candidate leaves more than 10% of questions blank without marking the 5th option, they will be disqualified.
- Candidates who score at least 25% will be shortlisted for the next stage.

Subject Knowledge Test & Interview

- Candidates have to score at least 35% to qualify for the interview
- 2 times the number of vacancies (plus any tied candidates) will be called for the interview
- The Subject Knowledge Test carries 87.5% weightage, and the interview carries 12.5% weightage in the final result
