The HP SET Exam 2026 is tentatively scheduled for 7th June 2026 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in offline mode in 10 districts (excluding Kinnaur and Lahaul & Spiti) of the state.

HP SET Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria
In order to avoid disqualification of their applications, candidates must fulfil the following HP SET eligibility criteria in terms of their age and qualifications.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree from UGC-recognised Universities / Institutions, with at least 50% marks from a recognised University.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates who are applying for the HP TET Exam 2025 must not be less than 18 years. However, there is no bar for an upper age limit.
HP SET Application Fee 2026
To complete the HP SET Application Form 2026, candidates have to pay the HP SET Application Fee 2026 as per their category. The fee will be paid by the Online Payment Gateway by Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking.

HP SET Exam Pattern 2026
- The Test will consist of two papers. Both papers will consist of only objective-type multiple-choice questions
- For each correct response, the candidate will get 2 (two) marks.
- The time duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
