Only the candidates who fulfil the required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, as mentioned by the commission, are eligible to apply for the Bihar BEd CET Exam 2026.

Educational Qualification

For admission to the 4-year B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated Course: The minimum educational qualifications are as follows:

For Two -Year B.Ed.

• Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or a Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics.

For Shiksha Shastri admission

• Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject) and a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Archarya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra
• Candidates with a minimum 50% marks in Two Years Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) and Acharya (First Year) or M.A. (First Year in Sanskrit) (OR)
• Candidates with a minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) must complete a one-year bridge course to be eligible for Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. 2026)
