Delhi Police PE & MT Date 2026 Notice Out, Physical Test from 25th July for Constable & Head Constable Posts

Delhi Police has released an official notice announcing the exam date for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) for the Delhi Police Examination-2025. Candidates who were qualified in the CBT exam have to appear for the physical test, which is scheduled from 25th July 2026 onwards. The Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) for recruitment to the posts of Constable (Executive), Constable (Driver), Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO) under Delhi Police Examination-2025. As per the notice, the PE&MT is likely to commence from 25th July 2026 (Saturday); the exact dates will be notified through admit cards which will be released at www.delhipolice.gov.in.

Delhi Police Constable PE&MT Details

The Constable (Executive) post is the biggest recruitment drive this cycle, with 7,201 vacancies (4,825 for male candidates and 2,376 for female candidates). Over 66,000 candidates were shortlisted to appear for physical test.

PE&MT Components:

• Race: 1600 metres for male candidates; 800 metres for female candidates, with time limits varying by age group.
• Long Jump and High Jump: Minimum distance/height requirements vary by age and gender.
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Height and chest measurement (chest measurement applicable for male candidates only).

Physical Standards:

Running Test Benchmarks

• Male candidates up to 30 years: 1600m in 6 minutes, 14 ft long jump, 3’9″ high jump
• Female candidates: 800m within 8–10 minutes depending on age group

Delhi Police PE & MT Test Format

1. Candidates who qualify in the Race become eligible for the further events – Long Jump and High Jump.
2. Candidates get three attempts each to qualify in the Long Jump and High Jump.
3. No appeal against disqualification in the Race, Long Jump, or High Jump will be entertained.
4. The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted only for candidates who qualify in the Physical Endurance Test (Race, Long Jump, and High Jump).
