CRPF Constable Selection Process 2023

The selection process for Constable (Technical and Tradesman) posts includes 5 stages. The description for each stage has been tabulated below. The candidates planning to apply for CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023, must know the detailed selection process.

Stage 1 Computer Based Test The Computer Based Test will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks
Stage 2 PET & PST Candidates shortlisted for PST will be asked to go through biometric verification followed by PET/Trade Test.
Stage 3 Trade Test Trade test, will be conducted through practical assessment and will be qualifying in nature.
Stage 4 Document Verification Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification from the pool of candidates who qualify in CBT, PST/PET and Trade test.
Stage 5 Medical Examination The shortlisted candidates will be medically examined by the Medical Officer/Medical Board constituted by the CRPF to assess their physical and medical fitness.

CRPF Constable Exam Pattern 2023

  1. CRPF Constable CBT Exam 2023 consists of 100 questions.
  2. The exam includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 1 mark each.
  3. CRPF Constable Exam Pattern 2023 is divided into 4 sections- Hindi Language Or English Language (optional), General Knowledge and General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics
  4. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  5. The duration of the CRPF Constable Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes) with no sectional timings.
  6. The questions in the CBT will be of Matriculation level.
