CG TET 2024 Online Registrations

CG TET Exam 2024 Application Fees

CG TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the CG TET examination, candidates have to first need to check the eligibility requirements prescribed by the examination authorities. Candidates fulfilling the necessary educational qualifications and age limit will be allowed to take the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024.

CG TET Educational Qualification

There are certain minimum educational qualifications that the candidates have to fulfill to appear for the examination. The educational qualifications are different for both CG TET Paper I and Paper II.

  • Class 12 pass with at least 50% marks, or appearing in the last year of a two-year elementary education diploma program.
  • Graduation and passing the two-year elementary education diploma exam, or appearing in the final year.
  • Class 12 pass with at least 45% marks, or appearing in the last year of a two-year elementary education diploma program.
  • Class 12 passed with at least 50% of the marks, or appearing in the last year of a two-year special education diploma program.
  • Graduation with a BEd (passed or appearing in the final year).
  • Class 12 passed with at least 50% of the marks, or be enrolled in the last year of a four-year elementary education bachelor’s degree (BElEd).
  • Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Class 12 with minimum 50% marks with a four-year BA/ BScEd/ BAEd/ BScEd.
  • Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd.
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and a one-year BEd.
  • Class 12 with minimum 50% marks with a four-year BElEd.
  • Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd.

CG TET Age Limit

Any candidate who is 18 or more than 18 years of age is eligible to apply for the CG TET Exam 2024. The upper age limit criteria have not been defined by the authorities.

CG TET Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing for the CG TET exam must be aware of the exam pattern. Here in the points below, we have mentioned the exam pattern for the exam.

  • There will be two papers in the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. Paper I and Paper II.
  • Both the papers will be for 150 marks each.
  • The candidates will be rewarded 1 mark for each correct answer and negative marking will not be there (applicable for both papers).
