Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is responsible for conducting the Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination-2026 for Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Para Medical Matric Level (PMM), and Para Medical Intermediate Level (PM) course groups. As per the official notice, the Bihar DCECE Exam 2026 for Polytechnic & Paramedical Courses is scheduled for 23rd and 24th May 2026, respectively.

Bihar DCECE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria for their respective courses:

For Polytechnic Engineering (PE)- Must have passed or appearing in Class 10th (Matriculation); Subjects: Mathematics and Science are compulsory

For Paramedical (PM)- Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12th; Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics

For Paramedical Matric (PMM)- Must have passed Class 10th

Age Limit

  • No minimum age for PE
  • For PM/PMM: Minimum age is generally 15–17 years (course-specific)

The exam pattern for Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Paramedical Matric (PMM), and Paramedical (PM) is explained below.

Polytechnic Engineering Course Group (PE)

There are 90 questions, 5 marks each, making a total of 450 marks. Candidates have to complete the examination in 2 hours and 15 minutes
