Good news for unemployed youth in the state, the Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to release the APPSC Exam Calendar 2026 on the occasion of Ugadi (Telugu New Year) (19th March 2026, Thursday). The government is expected to release 20 recruitment notifications through the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to fill long-pending vacancies across various departments.

The Minister of the Andhra Pradesh government, Mr. Nara Lokesh, has directed officials to plan and manage the exam job calendar, following which departments have been asked to submit detailed vacancy data. Officials have started collecting the department-wise information through the Nidhi HRMS portal under the Finance Department. The data suggests that nearly 30% of posts across departments are vacant.

Around 99,000 Posts to Be Filled Through APPSC Mega Direct Recruitment

A total of 157 departments have confirmed their vacancy positions, and it is expected that 99,000 posts may be filled through direct recruitment. Under the APPSC Mega Job Calendar 2026, A large number of vacancies will be released for Revenue, Higher Education, Municipal Administration, Panchayat Raj, Agriculture, and Skill Development departments.

After receiving official data regarding vacancy positions from all departments, the government will finalize the recruitment schedule. The APPSC Job Calendar 2026 is expected to be officially released on Ugadi, the Telugu New Year (19th March 2026, Thursday), marking a fresh beginning for lakhs of job aspirants in Andhra Pradesh.
