What is AFCAT Exam?

Air Force Common Admission Test is also known as AFCAT a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Air Force twice a year to select both male and female candidates for multiple posts in Flying and Ground Duty [Technical and Non-Technical]. AFCAT 1 Online Form 2025

AFCAT 1 Online Form 2025 for the candidates eligible to appear for the AFCAT 1 Exam will be available from 2nd December 2024 onwards at www.afcat.cdac.in. AFCAT 1 Application Fee 2025

The online examination fee of Rs. 550/- + GST (non-refundable) will be paid online for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry) to get register for the AFCAT 1 Exam 2025. The examination fee can be paid using credit/ debit cards/ net banking through the payment gateway.

Education Qualification Flying Branch & Ground Duty (Non-technical)- The candidate must have scored a minimum 50% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a three-year graduation degree OR a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university.
Ground Duty (Technical)- i)Aeronautical engineering (Electronics)(AE(L)): The candidate must have scored a minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university.
Age Limit Flying Branch- 20 to 24 years (Candidate must have born between 02/01/2002 to 01/01/2006)
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical)-
20 to 26 years (Candidate must have born between 02/01/2000 to 01/01/2006)
Martial Status Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course and marriage is not permitted during training
Nationality Candidate must be a citizen of India as per the Indian citizenship act, 1955.

Selection Process for AFCAT 1 2025

Salary Structure after AFCAT Exam

AFCAT cadets receive a stipend of Rs. 56,100 per month (Starting pay in Level 10). In addition to the AFCAT salary, Air Force Officers receive various allowances depending on their duties and place of assignment.
