What is AFCAT Exam?
Air Force Common Admission Test is also known as AFCAT a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Air Force twice a year to select both male and female candidates for multiple posts in Flying and Ground Duty [Technical and Non-Technical]. The candidates who pass the Air Force Common Admission Test-2025 (AFCAT-1 Exam) will be shortlisted for courses that start in January 2026, and they will be granted Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Non-Technical and Technical) branches.

AFCAT 1 Online Form 2025
AFCAT 1 Online Form 2025 for the candidates eligible to appear for the AFCAT 1 Exam will be available from 2nd December 2024 onwards at www.afcat.cdac.in. The candidates are willing to apply for vacancies for Flying Branches and Ground-Duty (Non-Technical) Branches have to submit their applications before the last date registration date which is 31st December 2024. AFCAT 1 Application Fee 2025
The online examination fee of Rs. 550/- + GST (non-refundable) will be paid online for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry) to get register for the AFCAT 1 Exam 2025. The examination fee can be paid using credit/ debit cards/ net banking through the payment gateway.

Selection Process for AFCAT 1 2025
Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct the following three stages (Written Test- AFSB Interview- Medical Examination) to shortlist eligible candidates through the AFCAT 1 2025 Exam.

Salary Structure after AFCAT Exam
AFCAT cadets receive a stipend of Rs. 56,100 per month (Starting pay in Level 10). In addition to the AFCAT salary, Air Force Officers receive various allowances depending on their duties and place of assignment.
