Canara Bank Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed age, educational qualification and other conditions as on the specified eligibility date.
Educational Qualification (as on 01/09/2026)
Candidates must hold a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
The graduation qualification must have been completed not earlier than 1 January 2023 and not later than 1 September 2026.
Age Limit (as on 01/09/2026)
The candidate must be between 20 and 28 years as on 1 September 2026.
Candidates must have been born:
- Not earlier than 2 September 1998
- Not later than 1 September 2006
Both dates are inclusive.

Local Language Requirement
- Candidates must fulfil the local-language requirement for the State selected by them.
- Candidates who have studied the specified local language in 10th or 12th standard and can produce the relevant marksheet/certificate will not be required to take the local-language test.
- For other candidates, we will conduct a local-language knowledge test during the Document Verification stage. Candidates who fail the local-language test will not be engaged as apprentices.

Canara Bank Apprentice Stipend 2026
