Canara Bank has invited candidates for the engagement of 3,500 Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27. The official notification and application forms are now available at www.canarabank.bank.in. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online for apprenticeship training through the Canara Bank website after completing their registration on the NATS apprenticeship portal.

The online application process has been started on 1 October 2026 and will continue till 17 October 2026. Candidates must have a 100% complete profile on the NATS portal before applying for Canara Bank apprenticeship training. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Canara Bank Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfil the prescribed age, educational qualification and other conditions as on the specified eligibility date.

Educational Qualification (as on 01/09/2026)

Candidates must hold a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.

The graduation qualification must have been completed not earlier than 1 January 2023 and not later than 1 September 2026.

Age Limit (as on 01/09/2026)

The candidate must be between 20 and 28 years as on 1 September 2026.

Candidates must have been born:

• Not earlier than 2 September 1998
• Not later than 1 September 2006

Local Language Requirement

• Candidates must fulfil the local-language requirement for the State selected by them.
• Candidates who have studied the specified local language in 10th or 12th standard and can produce the relevant marksheet/certificate will not be required to take the local-language test.
• For other candidates, we will conduct a local-language knowledge test during the Document Verification stage. Candidates who fail the local-language test will not be engaged as apprentices.

Canara Bank Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection process for Canara Bank Apprentice posts is based on a merit list prepared state-wise in descending order of marks/percentage obtained in the 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) or Diploma Examination.
