IBPS PO & SO Application Correction Window 2026 Opens, Check Correction Fee

The IBPS PO and SO application correction process has started on 29th July 2026. Candidates who have filled out their application form for the IBPS PO and SO Exam and want to make some changes can do that on the IBPS website. You can make these changes to your IBPS PO and SO Exam application form till 30th July 2026. This is your chance to fix any mistakes you made when you first filled out your IBPS PO and SO Exam application form.

IBPS PO & SO Application Correction Window 2026 Opens

The application correction window is available only to candidates who have already submitted their applications successfully along with the required fee. The Application Correction window for Probationary Officer (CRP PO/MT-XVI) and Specialist Officer (CRP SPL-XVI) exam remains open for 2 days only from 29th to 30th July 2026. During this period, candidates can edit the details entered in their application form and resubmit the corrected application after paying the applicable correction fee of Rs. 200/-.

Candidates are advised to carefully verify every detail before submitting the corrected application. After the correction window closes, no request to change personal details, educational information, category, examination centre, photograph, signature, or any other information will be accepted by IBPS under any circumstances.

How to Make Corrections in IBPS PO & SO Application Form 2026?

1. Candidates have to visit the official Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) website at https://www.ibps.in/.
2. Click on ‘Login’ and Enter your Registration ID and Password.
3. Open the Edit Window for Candidates to Modify/Correct the Application Form.
4. Make the necessary corrections as per IBPS guidelines.
5. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 200/- online.
6. Submit the corrected application.
7. Download and save the updated application form for future reference.

IBPS Application Correction Fee 2026

Candidates need to pay an application correction fee for any correction to their IBPS application form.

• Correction fee is mandatory and the same for all candidates
• It is non-refundable.
• It will not be adjusted against any other IBPS examination
• Candidates get only one attempt to edit and resubmit their application during the window.

The following information cannot be changed/ edited during the IBPS Application Correction Window.

• Mobile Number
• State/UT (in address)
• Post applied for
• Nationality

During the IBPS Modification/Correction process, the “Category” can be made as per the following combinations.

Key Guidelines to Remember

• Corrections can be submitted only once per candidate
• The most recently modified application is treated as final and valid for all further stages (Prelims, Mains, Interview)
• Corrections are allowed only after payment of the prescribed fee
• Certain personal details remain non-editable
• Category changes are permitted only as per the prescribed rules
• After the window closes, no changes will be entertained
• The correction fee is non-refundable even if the edit is abandoned midway
• Candidates who did not make any errors do not need to use the correction window at all
