Preparation Tips Before the SSC CPO Physical Test
- Start training now, not later. Build your running stamina with regular practice
- Track your numbers. Use a stopwatch for runs and a measuring tape for jumps during practice
- Don’t neglect jump events. Many candidates focus only on running and end up failing long jump or high jump instead.
- Watch your weight-height ratio. Since disproportionate weight can cause issues even after PET is physically cleared, maintain a fitness routine rather than a crash diet.
- Carry all original documents: admit card, valid photo ID, and category/PWD certificates as applicable, since incomplete documentation can lead to rejection at the gate regardless of fitness.
