This new result has been declared weeks after the first result was announced on 4th May 2026 and includes corrections that might have been made as a result of objections raised against the OMR sheet rejection process, category-wise shortlisting errors or any other administrative review carried out by the Commission.

Why Was the Revised Result Released?

Following the declaration of the original HCS Prelims Result, the Commission had faced scrutiny over the rejection of a significant number of OMR sheets — 2,199 OMR sheets for General Studies (Paper-I) and 3,189 OMR sheets for CSAT (Paper-II) were not considered while preparing the initial result.
