HSSC Pharmacist Syllabus 2026, Check Subject-wise Topics

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will conduct the HSSC Pharmacist recruitment examination for the Haryana Health Department to select 1,085 Pharmacist Officers for Group C posts. In the HSSC Pharmacist recruitment process, the written examination holds the maximum weightage. As the exam dates have not been released, candidates should make the most of this period by starting their preparation journey with a detailed syllabus and proper exam structure.

HSSC has provided a detailed syllabus for the Pharmacist post on its official website. This will help candidates to understand the subject-wise distribution of topics. While the syllabus is divided into three sections, the Pharmacy-related topics carry the maximum weightage. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and consists of 100 questions. But candidates will face no penalty for wrong answers. The questions of Pharmacy subjects are based on what candidates have studied during the Diploma in Pharmacy course.

HSSC Pharmacist Selection Process 2026

HSSC will select the Pharmacists Officers for the Haryana Health Department through multiple selection stages. The process will start with a written examination, from which the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for document verification and a medical test. To make the final merit list, HSSC will consider only the marks obtained in the written exam. The selection process of HSSC Pharmacists Officers is:

Haryana Pharmacist Exam Pattern 2026

HSSC will evaluate candidates through multiple subjects rather than just focusing on the pharmacist subject. The three sections of the Pharmacist written exam include General Awareness & Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and Pharmacy Subject. The exam pattern is discussed below:

• The exam will be conducted in an objective-type format
• The exam will have 100 questions.
• Each question will carry 0.975 marks.
• The maximum marks in the exam are 97.5.
• The duration of the exam is 105 minutes
• For unanswered questions, candidates will lose 0.975 marks.
• HSSC will award an extra 2.5 marks based on socio-economic factors and relevant work experience of candidates.
• Candidates can choose to read the question paper either in English or Hindi.
• In the OMR sheet, there will be 5 choices, in which the 5th circle is for questions left unanswered.
