JPSC Answer Key 2026 Out for 103 Civil Service Posts, Prelims Response Sheet PDF

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has conducted the JPSC Combined Civil Service Prelims examination on 19th April 2026 in the offline exam across the morning and evening shifts. A total of 221848 candidates who appeared in the exam can now download the provisional answer key from the official website www.jpsc.gov.in and calculate their score and determine their chances of getting shortlisted for the Mains examination.

JPSC Answer Key 2026 Out

The commission has released the JPSC Civil Service Prelims Answer Key 2026 for both General Studies 1 and General Studies 2 papers on 21st April 2026. With the answer key, candidates can cross-check their marked responses in the exam and use the official JPSC marking scheme to estimate their tentative JPSC Prelims score, following the marking scheme of 2 marks for a correct answer and no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

Steps to Download JPSC Civil Service Answer Key 2026

JPSC has released the JPSC Civil Service Answer Key 2026 at its official website www.jpsc.gov.in. To download the answer key, candidates have to follow the step-by-step process discussed below:

1. Open the official website of JPSC www.jpsc.gov.in
2. Go to the new section on the right side of the homepage.
3. You will notice a link titled “Notice regarding Combined Civil Service Preliminary examination Answer Key 2026” and click on it.
4. The answer key for both General Studies papers will appear on the screen.
5. Download the answer key as a PDF file and keep it saved on your device.

Raise Objection Process

Candidates who find any incorrect answers in the Prelims answer key can raise objections on the official website www.jpsc.gov.in from 21st to 24th April 2026. To object, candidates have to use their login credentials, select the question and answer ID, and pay an objection fee. The Commission will review all objections made by candidates and then prepare the final answer key based on them.

How to Raise Objections Against the JPSC Answer Key 2026?

JPSC objection process provides candidates a chance to improve their final Prelims scores, if any discrepancies are found. The steps that candidates have to follow to make challenges against the provisional answer key are:

1. Visit the official website of JPSC, https://www.jpsc.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, navigate to the New section, which you will notice on the left side of the window.
3. Look for a link titled “Notice Regarding Objection against Combined Civil Service Exam 2026” and select this link.
4. You will be redirected to a login facility, in which provide your Registration Number and Password.
5. Then select the question ID from the provisional answer key that you believe is wrong.
6. Select the correct answer key and provide a necessary reason in the form of a standard textbook, like NCERT or any other authentic source.
7. Then, pay the objection fee through any online payment mode and submit the objection window.
8. Download and save or take a printout of the objection form.

How to Calculate Marks using JPSC Answer Key 2026?

After calculating the marks by using the Prelims answer key, candidates will understand where they stand in the competition. In the Prelims exam, there are 200 questions, and each of these questions carries 2 marks. The candidates get one benefit in the exam, and that is, there is no negative marking for wrong answers. To calculate the Prelims marks, candidates must follow the following steps:

1. Candidates must get the correct answer key for their question paper set.
2. Compare your responses with the provisional answer key.
3. Count the number of questions that you answered correctly and multiply them by 2 marks.
4. Since there is no negative marking, the number of correct answers is the number of marks obtained by candidates.
5. Candidates can even use a formula to calculate marks: “Number of correct answers*2=Score”.
