GSSSB Staff Nurse (Ayurveda) Vacancy 2026

GSSSB has stated that the number of vacancies for this recruitment may increase or decrease, depending on the requirement. The vacancies for the reserved categories are to be filled by candidates from that category only. Also, some vacancies are reserved for women within each category. In case women candidates are not available, these vacancies will be filled by male candidates from the same category. The category-wise vacancies for the said posts are given below:

GSSSB Staff Nurse (Ayurveda) Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions of the Staff Nurse posts. The board has mentioned that candidates should get themselves registered at the Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine at the time of their application for direct selection, if they are not already registered. The eligibility conditions are given below:

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a Diploma of Ayurvedic Nursing and must have an Ayurvedic Nursing Course Certificate obtained from the Gujarat Ayurvedic Nursing Faculty established by the Government of Gujarat.
• Candidates must have basic knowledge of computer applications as given in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967.
• They must also have language proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi, or both.

Age Limit

Candidates must be above the age of 18 years. The maximum age allowed for this recruitment is 45 years as on 13th April 2026. The board has allowed age relaxation for candidates from the reservation category, which is given below:

GSSSB Staff Nurse Apply Online 2026 Link

The application link for the Staff Nurse (Ayurveda) recruitment will be activated on the official OJAS portal https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in and at the Gujarat Subordinate Staff Selection Board (GSSSB) portal https://gsssb.gujrat.gov.in. GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee as per their category to complete the application process. They must pay the fee through online mode only using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI Payments. The last date to pay the application fee is 16th April 2026 by 11:59 pm. After paying the application fee, candidates must take a printout of the receipt. GSSSB will refund the application fee to only those candidates who appear in the CBT. How to Apply for GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026?

Candidates willing to apply for the recruitment must keep all necessary documents ready, such as educational qualification, caste certificate, age proof, and other required documents. Candidates must follow the steps given below to complete their application process:

1. Candidates can apply from any of the official websites, https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in, or https://gsssb.gujrat.gov.in.
2. In case you are choosing the OJAS portal, then open the website https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
3. On the homepage, go to the “Online Application” section. In this, select “Apply” and then select GSSSB.
4. Now, first complete the registration process by using your mobile number and email ID. This will generate your registration ID.
5. Use this registration ID and login. Enter your personal details, education qualifications, category details, exam centre preference and other required fields. Then click on the ” save and next option.
6.  Now, upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPG format, but having max. of 15 KB in size.
7. Then, pay the application fee as per your category by online mode only.
8. Before clicking on Submit, review all the information in the application form. Once satisfied, click on the Submit button.
9. Download and take a printout of the confirmation page.

GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process in this recruitment has only two stages. The first is an online exam, which is followed by document verification. Candidates must qualify in each round to get a final appointment. The selection process is as follows:

1. Written Exam: This is the first stage, in which the exam is held in CBRT/OMR mode. The exam has a single paper in MCQ format. The paper is divided into two parts, one for General subjects and the other for subject-specific.
2. Document Verification: Candidates will be shortlisted in a 2:1 ratio for this round. They must present original documents of academics, caste, and age proof certificates.

Note: While preparing the final merit, widows and recognized sports persons will get an additional 5% marks.

GSSSB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2026

The exam can be conducted either online through CBRT or through an offline OMR-based format. The questions asked in the exam will be in an objective-type format. The total marks of the exam are 210, and each question will carry 1 mark. The exam has two parts. Part A has General Subjects, while Part B has Ayurveda-specific subjects. The exam pattern is given below:

• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• To qualify for the exam, candidates must score 40% seperately in each part.

GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment Salary 2026

Candidates selected through this recruitment are entitled to a salary of Pay Level 5 under the 7th Pay Commission. Initially, for the first 5 years, candidates will be appointed with a fixed salary of Rs. 40,800 per month. After the completion of 5 years, candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300.
