Selection Process
The recruitment authority will firstly conduct a written test to shortlist the eligible candidates for physical test. Then Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be conducted to finally select the candidates for document verification and medical examination.

Candidates should have a proper understanding of the exam pattern before appearing in the exam. Exam patterns give a clear idea about the total number of questions asked in the exam and the marking scheme.
- In the written test, Objective-Type questions will be asked.

OSSSC Forest Guard Exam Day Instructions
On the exam day, candidates are advised to follow some important instructions, a few of them are as follows-
- Candidates must carry their Printed OSSSC Admit Card (Admission Letter), Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Passport) and Passport-size photographs (as specified on the admit card).
- Candidates must plan to reach their respective exam centre at least 1 hour before the reporting time.
- On the day of the exam, don’t start with any new topic or subject.
- Keep yourself calm, wear light clothes and also carry a transparent water bottle along with you.
- OMR sheets will be provided at the exam centre, and candidates must not carry with them.
