The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) is a state-level exam conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor positions in colleges and universities within Maharashtra and Goa. This year, the exam was conducted on 15th June 2025, for which the MH SET Cut Off 2025 will be released along with the MH SET Result as expected in July 2025. The cut-off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate must score to be qualified for the exam.
MH SET Cut Off 2025
The MH SET Cut Off 2025 will be released by the Savitribai Phule Pune University at their official website www.setexam.unipune.ac.in along with MH SET Result 2025. The cut-off marks will be released subject-wise for all categories. The MH SET cut-off is determined by various factors, such as the number of vacancies, the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates appearing, the reservation policies, and the overall candidate performance.
MH SET Previous Year Cut Off
The cut-off marks for the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) were released separately in the years 2024 and 2021. Candidates who have appeared for the exam must go through the previous year’s cut-off marks to understand the difficulty level of the examination conducted in the previous years and what level could be expected in this year’s exam.
MH SET Cut Off 2024
Maharashtra SET Cut off is the minimum score required for candidates to qualify for the eligibility certificate to become Assistant Professors. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the cut off of 2024 to get an idea of the expected cut off in 2025. Check the cut-off for all subjects for 2024.

MH SET Cut Off 2021
Cut Off is the minimum mark the candidates need to pass to be qualified to apply for the Assistant Professors of the concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government/ Aided /Private) of Maharashtra and Goa state. THE MH SET Cut Off 2025 will be released by the authorities shortly, but candidates can check the subject-wise Maharashtra Cut Off 2021 for a brief idea. Till then, candidates can check the MH SET Previous year cut-off from the given table.

MH SET 2025: Minimum Qualifying Marks
Those belonging to the Open, EWS, and OBC categories are required to score 40% aggregate marks in Papers 1 and 2 to pass this examination, and the minimum qualifying marks for SC, ST, PwD, Trans-Genders, and Orphan categories are 35% aggregate in both papers.
