With nearly 10 lakh applicants, KVS NVS Recruitment 2025 is among the most competitive education recruitments. As per the official RTI reply, a total of 9,64,897 candidates have registered for various teaching and non-teaching posts under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Out of which it is expected that around 8.5 lakh candidates have appeared in the exam conducted on 10th and 11th January 2026.
With 15762 vacancies (KVS-9921, NVS-5841) and 8.5 lakh candidates appeared, this indicates very high competition for teaching and non-teaching posts this year. The result will declare the fate of the candidates and their eligibility to appear for the next round (Interview or Skill Test).
