5.97 Lakh Candidates Passed CTET 2026 Exam, Check Paper-wise Pass Percentage

With the announcement of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 result, the Central Board of Secondary Education has also released the official data on the number of registered and appeared candidates. For the CTET February 2026 Examination, a total of 5,97,061 candidates have been declared qualified, representing an overall pass percentage of 25.68%, out of the 23,24,625 candidates who appeared in the 21st edition of the CTET.

The CTET Exam was held on 7th and 8th February 2026 across 140 cities nationwide, conducted in two shifts each day. A re-examination for Paper 2 was also held on 1st March 2026 at two centres in Vaishali, Bihar. The announcement of the CTET Result 2026 brings relief and excitement to teaching aspirants across the country. Qualified candidates for the CTET February 2026 Examination are issued lifetime-valid CTET certificates on the DigiLocker platform.

For the CTET February Exam, a total of 26,49,129 candidates registered for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam. A toral 2324625 candidates appeared in exam out of which 597061 qualified in exam.

CTET 2026 Paper-wise Pass Percentage

CTET Exam 2026 consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is held for those candidates who intend to teach the primary classes, i.e., Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8.
