139395 Candidates Shortlisted for SSC CGL 2025 Tier 2 Exam (Tier 1 Result Out)

According to the latest update, 1,39,395 SSC aspirants have been declared qualified to appear for next round of selection process i.e. SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam. Check the post-wise and category-wise number of candidates selected.

Within 2 months of the exam, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the SSC CGL Result and Cut Off marks along with the total number of candidates who are qualified in the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2025. Out of 28.15 lakh candidates who appeared in the exam, only 1,39,395 candidates are declared qualified and eligible to appear for the SSC CGL tier 2 Exam. This data has been

From the total 1 lakh 39 thousand candidates shortlisted, 6196 candidates have to appear for the Tier 2 exam for Junior Statistical Officer, 2791 for Statistical Investigator Gr. II, and the remaining 130418 for posts other than the above two. Candidates whose names and roll numbers are mentioned in the list must begin their preparation for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam, which is tentatively to be held in the 3rd week of January 2026.

SSC CGL Post-wise Number of Candidates Qualified

This year, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced 14582 vacancies to be filled, for which a stage selection process will be conducted. After the completion of the tier 1 exam, around 1.4 lakh candidates are moved forward forthe tier 2 exam.
