SSC CGL Result 2025 Out, Tier 1 Merit List PDF & Scorecard Link

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL Result 2025 online in pdf format along with cut-off marks, for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2025 on the official website of SSC at www.ssc.gov.in. The officials have released the list of candidates declared qualified for JSO, Statistical Investigator, and other posts along with category-wise cut-off marks. 

SSC CGL Result 2025 Out

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted from 12th to 26th September 2025, and a re-exam on 14th October 2025. Around 28 lakh candidates have submitted their applications for the SSC CGL 2025 Exam, and as per the results, 139395 candidates are declared qualified to appear for the Tier 2 exam. Through the SSC CGL 2025 Exam, 14582 vacancies have been released for Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Other posts.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025

After the release of the SSC CGL Result 2025 for the tier 1 exam, the candidates can now check whether their roll number/name is mentioned in the list of qualified candidates. The marks and score cards will be uploaded shortly at www.ssc.gov.in with subject-wise marks scored in the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2025.

How to Check SSC CGL Result 2025 from www.ssc.gov.in?

Candidates can either download the result PDFs directly from the links shared above or from the official website www.ssc.gov.in, following the steps mentioned below- 

1. Visit the official website of SSC (https://ssc.gov.in/)
2. On the left side of the homepage, click on the “Result” section and click on the CGL tab.
3. Click on the "Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2025: Candidates provisionally shortlisted for Tier 2 Examination"  Result Links for the posts you have appeared in the exam.
4. Now download the SSC CGL Result 2025 PDF file and save this result PDF.
5. SSC CGL Tier 1 Result (PDF File) is displayed on the screen.
6. Open the file. The list of qualified candidates is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.
7. If your Name and Roll No. are there on the list, you have qualified to appear for the released vacancies.

SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying mark in the examination for General category candidates is 30%, for OBC & EWS candidates is 25% and for other categories is 20%. Candidates scoring more than the qualifying marks will be eligible to be a part of the shortlisting; however, the cut-off marks will be the deciding factor for shortlisting candidates for the next round.

What After the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025?

As notified, the candidates qualified in the tier 1 exam have to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam, which is expected to be held in the 3rd week of January 2026 (expected) for the candidates who will be qualified in the tier 1 exam. The marks and score cards for the Tier 1 exam will be released shortly at www.ssc.gov.in. Based on their aggregate performance in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 examinations, candidates will be shortlisted for the final selection process, categorised by their respective groups.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

• The Paper 1 in SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam is common for all candidates while Paper 2 will be conducted only for candidates who had applied for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO).
• There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section I, Section II and Module I of Section III of Paper I and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper II.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Score Card and Marks will be released along with the final answer key at the official website, www.ssc.gov.in, as mentioned in the result notice. The score cards will be released for all candidates, whether qualified or not.

SSC CGL Result 2025 Withheld for 49 Candidates & Debarred for 5 Candidates

The SSC CGL Results of 49 candidates have been kept withheld due to various reasons, including pending litigations or court cases. Also, the result of five candidates have not been processed because they are debarred from SSC examinations or their candidature has been cancelled/rejected.

SSC CGL 2025 Marks Normalisation 

For fair and accurate results, the SSC CGL Normalisation Process is followed. The candidates must also note that the raw marks may be increased or decreased after applying the normalisation. The normalisation formula for SSC CGL is:
