  1. Start with the Official Syllabus: Read the syllabus carefully and divide it into Bengali/Nepali, English, Elementary Mathematics, and Survey Engineering. Mark the topics that require additional practice.
  2. Practise Language and Grammar: For Paper I, practise letter writing, report drafting, and grammar regularly. For English, focus on vocabulary, sentence correction, synonyms, antonyms, and composition.
  3. Strengthen Mathematics Fundamentals: Revise arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and mensuration. Solve practice questions and check your calculations to reduce avoidable errors.
  4. Give Adequate Time to Survey Engineering: Survey Engineering accounts for 100 out of 200 marks in Paper II. Revise diploma-level concepts and practise technical questions from relevant study material.
  5. Practise Objective Questions Carefully: Since Paper II has negative marking, avoid random guessing. Work on accuracy as well as speed, and review incorrect answers to identify weak areas.
  6. Take Timed Mock Tests: Practise completing Paper I within one hour and Paper II within two hours and thirty minutes. Use mock tests to improve time management and identify topics that need revision.
