UPSC NDA Admit Card 2026 Out, NDA 1 Hall Ticket Link at upsc.gov.in

The admit card download link for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2026 is available for downloading at https://upsconline.nic.in. The NDA 1 2026 exam is scheduled for 12th April 2026 (Sunday). After downloading the admit card, make sure to check all the details and print the admit card on an A4 sheet. Without a hard copy of the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to attend the exam.

How to Download NDA 1 Admit Card 2026 from upsc.gov.in?

Candidates who want to download the NDA 1 Admit Card 2026 from the Union Public Service Commission official website can follow the steps provided below.

  1. Go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at https://upsc.gov.in/.
  2. Under the What’s New section on the homepage, click on the ‘Click Here’ button in front of the text reading “e-Admit Cards: National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2026.
  3. Read the complete instructions that are provided on the screen for printing and downloading the ‘NDA Admit Card 2026’. After reading all the instructions, click on the ‘Yes’ button.
  4. For downloading, click on either of the two options- By Registration Number’ or ‘By Roll Number.
  5. Enter the registration number/roll number (as per the option selected) along with the date of birth and the captcha code. Then click on the ‘submit’ tab.
  6. UPSC NDA Admit Card 2026 for the UPSC NDA examination (I) appears on the system screen.
  7. Download the admit card and take a printout of the same to carry to the exam hall.

UPSC NDA Exam 2026 Shift Timings

The NDA exam will be held in two shifts. Paper 1 for Mathematics subjects will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and Paper 2 for General Ability Test (GAT) will be held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Check shift timing from the table below.

NDA Exam Pattern 2026

  • The NDA written examination is divided into two papers, namely Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).
  • The exam will be held in offline mode and consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
  • The mathematics paper consists of 120 questions for 300 marks, and the General Ability Test (GAT) paper will have English and GK Papers of 200 & 400 marks, respectively.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.83 marks for Maths and 1.33 marks for GK.
  • The time duration for each paper is 2.5 hours.

UPSC NDA 1 Selection Process 2026

UPSC NDA 1 selection process comprises two stages:

  • Written Exam – UPSC conducts the written exam for all those candidates who have been sucessfully registered for the exam. The written exam tests the knowledge and aptitude of candidates
  • Intelligence and Personality Test (SSB) – Those who clear the written exam are called for the SSB Interview. Candidates who clear both stages will be required to submit the Original Certificates along with one photocopy each of the original 10th certificate and 12th certificate.
