Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct the Recruitment Test for Drugs Inspector (Medical Devices) on 2nd November 2025 (Sunday) at various exam centres across the state. The admit card has already been released for the written test. Candidates who applied for the post under Advt. No. 06/2025 can now download their UPSC Drug Inspector Admit Card 2025 from the official website, https://upsc.gov.in.

UPSC Drug Inspector Admit Card 2025 Out

The examination is scheduled for the morning shift from 9:30 am to 11:30 am to fill 20 vacancies in the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Candidates must download their UPSC Drug Inspector Admit Card 2025 using their login credentials to appear for the exam. Along with the admit card, candidates have to bring their Valid government-authorised ID card (Aadhar, PAN, Licence, etc) for security verification.

Steps to Download the UPSC Drug Inspector Admit Card 2025

Candidates have to follow the instructions given below to download the UPSC Admit Card 2025 for Drug Inspectors:

• Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission, https://upsc.gov.in/.
• On the homepage, look for the “e-Admit cards for various examinations”
• Now search for “20 vacancies for the post of Drugs Inspector(Medical Devices) in Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, Department of Health and Family Welfare (Advt No. 06/2025, Vacancy No. 25050624624)”.
• Against it click on “Click Here” to download your admit card.
• After clicking the link you have to enter the Registration ID/Roll Number and Date of Birth.
• After submitting the details, your admit card appears on the screen.
• Download, Save and print 2-3 copies for the examination.

UPSC Drug Inspector Shift Timings

Candidates appearing for the UPSC Drug Inspector Recruitment Test must report at the test venue 90 minutes before the examination begins. The entry gate will close at 9 am, and no candidate will be allowed to enter after this time. The examination will start at 9:30 am and will end at 11:30 am.

Important Instructions

• Check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of the UPSC immediately.
• Bring the printout of the e-Admit Card along with the original Photo Identity Card, as mentioned in the e-Admit Card, to secure admission to the Recruitment Test Centre. The E-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the Recruitment Test Result.
• Please note that entry into the Venue of Recruitment Test shall be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Recruitment Test i.e. 09:00 AM. No candidate shall be allowed entry into the Venue of Recruitment Test after the closure of the entry.
• Candidates should note that they shall not be allowed to appear at any other Venue of the Recruitment Test except the Venue of the Recruitment Test mentioned in the e-Admit Card.
• Candidates must follow the exam instructions as mentioned on their admit cards.

UPSC Drug Inspector Exam Pattern 2025

The exam pattern for Drug Inspector is as follows:

• There will be various subjects, as mentioned below, asked in the examination.
• The total duration of the exam is 3 hours
• The total marks are 300.
• 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer
• The selection process for the post is based on a combined performance in the Recruitment Test and the Interview. The Recruitment Test carries a weightage of 75%, while the Interview accounts for the remaining 25%.
