UPSC CMS Result 2026 Out at upsc.gov.in, Download Merit List PDF, 2923 Candidates Qualified

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC CMSE Result 2026 PDF on September 1, 2026, including the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the interview/personality test. Candidates who participated in the exam can now check their qualifying status through the result available on the UPSC official portal. As per the result, 2923 candidates were declared qualified in the written exam and shortlisted for the next round. 

Eligible candidates need to login to the UPSC online portal within 15 days from the date of declaration of the written result and update the requisite details. Candidates are also required to declare their educational qualification status and upload the relevant documents to attest to their eligibility.

1. First, candidates have to go to the official portal of the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (संघ लोक सेवा आयोग) at https://www.upsc.gov.in/.
2. Candidates have to click on the text reading “Combined Medical Services Examination, 2026 >> Written Result”.
3. A result PDF with the list of roll numbers of qualified candidates appears on the screen.
4. Download the result and search for your roll number using the Ctrl+F shortcut.
5. Save and print the merit list for future exam reference.

The UPSC CMSE Mark sheets of candidates will be released on the UPSC Commission’s website
after the publication of the final result (i.e., after conducting the Personality Test) and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days. The mark sheet contains the candidate’s marks in the written exam and interview.
