UP Police SI Age Limit (as on 01/07/2023)

The candidate applying for UP Police SI recruitment 2024 must have completed 21 years of age on 01-07-2023 and must not have completed more than 28 years of age, that is, the candidate must not have been born before 01-07-1995 and after 01-07-2002.

Note: An age relaxation will be provided in the maximum age limit for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and such other categories (only natives of Uttar Pradesh) will be admissible as per the provisions contained in the Government Orders in force in this behalf.

Character

UP Police SI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The Selection Process for UP Police SI Recruitment 2024 for 921 vacancies includes five stages which are:

Stage 1: Written Exam

Stage 2: Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST)

Stage 3: Computer Typing and Shorthand Test

Stage 4: Medical Examination

UP SI Vacancy 2024 Exam Pattern

UP SI written exam of 400 marks is to be completed in 150 minutes. The subjects included in the exam are General Hindi / Computer Knowledge, General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Numerical and Mental Ability Test, Mental Aptitude Test/IQ Test/ Reasoning. From each subject, 50 multiple-choice questions will be asked.

UP SI Physical Standard Test (PST)

Based on the merit list in the written examination selected candidates will be called to appear for the document verification and physical standard test (PST). i.e. Height, Chest, and Weight measurements. The PST test is qualifying in nature no marks will be awarded for the PST test. The candidates who do not fulfill the laid down physical standard will be eliminated from appearing for the next phase of the selection process.
