UP PGT Written Examination 2026 was conducted 9th and 10th May 2026 for 624 Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) posts. The exam was conducted for total 18 subjects (English, Civics, Mathematics, Economics, Sanskrit, Psychology, Chemistry, Geography, Hindi, Arts, etc). UP PGT Question Paper 2026 Out

The UP PGT Exam 2026 was held in offline (OMR-based) mode across two shifts daily — the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM — at designated exam centres across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who sat for the exam this year, along with aspirants preparing for the upcoming cycle, are encouraged to download the UP PGT Question Paper to evaluate the exam’s difficulty level and understand the topic-wise weightage of the questions asked.

As per data received 1,92,934 candidates have appeared in all 4 shifts (41.53%) for 624 vacancies and the official UP PGT Answer Key 2026 released on 12th May 2026 at the official website.
