UKMSSB ANM Recruitment 2026 Notification Out for 335 Female Health Worker Vacancies

Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has initiated a recruitment drive to fill 335 Female Health Worker/ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) posts under the Health Department. Eligible female candidates from a Nursing and Midwifery background must apply online from 21st April to 4th May 2026 on the official website https://www.ukmssb.org or https://www.ukmssb.in. After the application process ends, UKMSSB will open the correction window facility for candidates.

Candidates who had applied for the 180 vacancies under Advertisement No. 786 on 14th November 2025 for the post of Health Worker (Female) under Group C do not need to apply again for this recruitment. Their applications will be carried forward to this recruitment.

Uttarakhand Female Health Worker Eligibility Criteria 2026

Only those candidates who completed the UKMSSB ANM Eligibility Parameters in terms of educational qualification and age limit will be eligible to apply online for UKMSSB ANM Recruitment 2026.

UKMSSB ANM Application Form 2026

Candidates who are already in any government service must submit a departmental Non-Objection Certificate. Those candidates who are seeking reservation benefits in this recruitment must hold a permanent resident (domicile) certificate of Uttarakhand. As the application form filling will start from 21st May, 2026, candidates must keep all the documents ready in scanned format. Uttarakhand Female Health Application Fee 2026

To complete the application form, candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee online. The fee can be paid through Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. If the application fee is not paid by the last date of fee payment, 4th May 2026, applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. Note:

• Candidates from the Uttarakhand Ex-Servicemen sub-category have to pay the application fee as per their main category.
• If candidates make a mistake while making a fee payment, they must cancel the application and submit a fresh application. But the Board will not repay the application fee paid earlier.

Steps to Apply Online for UKMSSB ANM Recruitment 2026

In the ANM application process, candidates need to first complete the online registration, which is followed by filling out the details, uploading the documents, and paying the application fee. For candidates, we have provided below the steps to complete the application process smoothly:

1. On any browser, visit the official website of UKMSSB, https://ukmssb.org.
2. On the homepage, go to the “Apply Now” option at the top and click on it. You will get redirected to a new window, in which you click on the “Apply Now” option.
3. In the next window, select the link titled “ANM Recruitment 2026” and you will be redirected to a login page.
4. Click on the “Candidate Register Here” and fill in your name, DOB, email, mobile, password, and basic details. This will generate your registration details.
5. Now, log in again with the generated credentials. Fill in the form with personal, category, domicile, educational qualification, ANM marks, passing year and certificate details.
6. Then fill all districts in the order of preference. After submission, no changes will be allowed.
7. Upload your photograph and signature with a size not more than 50 KB and in JPG format. Also, upload a single PDF containing certificates of academics, ANM marksheet, UNMC registration certificate, category, domicile, NCC, and NOC.
8. Review the application form carefully and then click on “I Agree”.
9. Then, fill out the application form as per your category through the online payment option.
10. Finally, submit your application form, download the acknowledgement form and the fee receipt.

Uttarakhand Female Health Worker Selection Process 2026

The selection process for Female Health Worker/ ANM is completely merit-based. There is no written exam or interview in this recruitment. UKMSSB will prepare a district-wise merit list based on the marks obtained during the ANM Training Course. The board will prepare a merit ranking based on the candidate’s district preference and district-wise ranking. However, while preparing the merit list, the Board will take tie-breaking rules and other things into consideration, as given below:

• Tie-Breaking Rule: If more than two candidates obtain the same marks, then-

(a) Older candidates will be placed in the higher merit.
(b) If still, the candidate with a preferential qualification will be considered
(c) If not solved, priority will be given as per the English alphabetical name of ordering.

• Document Verification: Candidates need to verify their original certificates.
• Medical Fitness: Final selection of candidates will be subject to a medical fitness test.

UKMSSB ANM Salary 2026

Candidates selected for Health Worker (Female) posts will be offered a monthly salary as mentioned in the official notification PDF. Along with salary, candidates will be entitled to various allowances and perks.

Note: Along with salary, Health workers will also receive several allowances, like DA, HRA, medical benefits, and others as per the state government rules.
