SGPGI Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow, will conduct the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for all successfully registered candidates to recruit eligible candidates for Nursing Officer (NO) posts. The selection will be done based on the marks obtained by candidates in a single stage of the exam i.e. the Common Recruitment Test (CRT). Qualified candidates in the CRT exam will be called for verification of documents by the Institute.

• Common Recruitment Test (CRT) – The SGPGI Common Recruitment Test will be conducted to select candidates for Nursing Officer posts. The exam will be held for a total of 100 marks. Based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in the CRT exam, the final merit list will be prepared.
• Document Verification Process – Candidates who declared qualified in the CRT exam will be called to appear for verification of the certificate by the exam authority. In this stage, candidates have to submit the original documents for verification of their eligibility for Nursing Officer posts.
• Final Merit List – The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for all categories.

SGPGI Nursing Officer Exam Pattern 2025

• The SGPGI Nursing Officer Exam will be held Computer Based Through Online Medium.
• The exam consists of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
• The exam will be held for a total of 100 marks.
• The time duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
• 1 (one) mark will be given for the correct answer, and 1/3 (one-third) mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks of the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for category-wise are as follows:
