The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has increased the number of vacancies to 14298 Technician ( Grade 1 Signal & Grade 3) posts and there is a good news for the candidates who have missed RRB Technician Apply Online 2024 as the registration window is opened again. The existing and fresh eligible candidates can now apply for RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 as the application process has been started again from 2nd October 2024 onwards. Only candidates who are at least 18 years old are eligible to apply for Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3 posts. RRB Technician Application Fees 2024

While filling out the Railway Recruitment 2024 apply online form for Technician posts, candidates will have to pay some amount as application fees. The amount will be refunded to those candidates only who will appear in the computer-based test (CBT). Candidates belonging to ST/SC/Female/EBC/PwD/Minorities/Transgender/Ex-Serviceman will have to pay Rs. 250/-

Steps to Fill the RRB Technician Online Form 2024

To make the application process easier for candidates, we have provided here a complete step-by-step procedure to fill out the RRB Technician Application Form 2024.

1. First, open the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board for online registration i.e. https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/.

2. Now, go to the ‘Apply’ section and click on “Create An Account”.

3. Candidates will now first have to click on ‘Create an Account’ and fill in the required details such as nationality, candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, and Aadhar number for verification.  (This step is to be done by only those candidates who are new users, candidates who have already created their account for CEN 01/2024 can log in for CEN 01/2024 using the same login credentials.)

4. Now, enter personal details such as e-mail ID and working mobile number and click on the verify OTP button.

5. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or e-mail ID. Enter the OTP in the required column to complete the verification purpose.

6. Now, candidates have to create a strong password and enter a captcha code presented on the screen.

7. Once the account is created, candidates will now have to log in to the account using the password created in the previous step.

8. The candidates have to now complete the application form by entering the necessary and required information.

9. If any candidate is applying for the scribe, he/she must provide the details for the scribe person.

10. At this, step candidates have to upload the essential documents, the candidate’s signature, and a colored passport-sized photograph in the prescribed format (scanned copies only).

11. Now, the candidates have to pay the application fees by clicking on the payment tab. The application fees will be paid through UPI payments, net banking, e-wallets, etc.

12. Click on the ‘Submit’ button and finally, the registration for the respective posts is completed.

RRB Technician Eligibility 2024

The candidates who are applying for Grade 1 Signal & Grade 3 posts must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility requirements as prescribed by the official authorities. The eligibility requirements are different for both the posts under RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 and are mentioned in the table below.

Qualification for Technician Grade 1 Signal: Bachelor of Science In Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute OR B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute
OR
A degree in engineering in any of the above core streams, or in any combination of them.
OR
Three-year engineering diploma in any of the above fundamental streams, or in any combination of those streams.

Qualification for Technician Grade 3: Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Forger and Heat Treater/Foundryman / Pattern Maker / Moulder (Refractory). (OR) Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trades.
