RRB NTPC Exam Analysis 2026, 16 March Shift 1 Difficulty Level & Safe Score

The first shift of the RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT 1 Exam has concluded today at 10:30 am. The exam was conducted online, with lakhs of candidates participating. Those scheduled for upcoming shifts are eager to learn if the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has changed the question pattern or the difficulty level. RRB NTPC Exam Analysis 2026

The CBT 1 Exam is scheduled to be held on 9 days between 16th and 27th March 2026, and a total of 21 shifts will be conducted (3 each day). There were a total of 100 questions asked in the exam from the following sections-

  • General Awareness- 40 Questions for 40 marks
  • Mathematics- 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning- 30 Questions for 30 marks

In the RRB NTPC computer-based exam, candidates are required to answer 100 questions within a time limit of 1.5 hours (90 minutes). Since there is no sectional timing, candidates can manage their time effectively by quickly completing the sections they find easier and then dedicating more time to the sections they find more challenging.

Shift 1 of RRB NTPC 2025 started at 9 am and is concluded at 10:30 am. RRB NTPC Graduate Shift Timings

RRB NTPC Exam 2025 has been scheduled to be conducted in 3 shifts from 5th to 24th June 2025. In total, there will be 48 shifts, and more than 50 lakh of candidates across the nation are going to appear in the exam. The 1st shift starts at 9 am and ends at 10:30 am, the 2nd shift is from 12:15 pm to 2:15 pm, and the 3rd shift is from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
