Punjab PCS Mains Admit Card 2026, Hall Ticket @ppsc.gov.in

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is an exam organisation agency responsible for conducting the Punjab Civil Service Combined Competitive Examination. Punjab PCS has announced that the Punjab PSC Mains Examination 2026 will be conducted from 1st to 10th April 2026. Candidates who are going to appear for their Mains exam will be able to download their Punjab PCS Mains Admit Card 2026 from the official portal www.ppsc.gov.in from the 4th week of March 2026.

Punjab PCS Mains Admit Card 2026

PPSC is conducting the Punjab PCS Recruitment to appoint 322 civil service officers across Punjab. The recruitment has 3 stages of selection: Preliminary, Mains, and an Interview. Punjab PCS has declared the Prelims result on 10th January 2026. Prelims-qualified candidates will be able to download their Mains hall ticket by using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. The admit card is a mandatory document for candidates’ entry to the exam hall and contains the roll number, exam shift timings, reporting time, exam centre address, and other details.

Punjab PCS Admit Card 2026 Download Link

Punjab Public Service Commission will activate the download link for the Punjab PCS Mains Admit Card 2026 on its official website www.ppsc.gov.in in the 4th week of March 2026. Candidates who are scheduled to give the Mains examination from 1st to 10th April 2026 will be able to download their hall ticket by using their Registration Number, Password, and the Security Code displayed on the image.

How to Download Punjab PCS Mains Admit Card 2026?

Candidates who have been shortlisted for the Punjab PCS Mains Examination will be able to download their Mains hall ticket by following the steps discussed below:

1. Open the internet browser on your device and go to the official PPSC website https://ppsc.gov.in
2. Scroll down the homepage, on the right side of the blue column, you will notice “Download Admit Card”. Click on this link.
3. A new window will open, and in this, enter your Registration Number, Password, and the Code shown in the image on the right side. Then click on “Submit.”
4. Your Punjab PCS Mains Admit Card 2026 will be displayed on the screen in a PDF format.
5. Download the hall ticket PDF and take 2-3 printouts before your Mains exam.

Documents to Carry with Punjab PCS Hall Ticket 2026

Punjab PCS has advised candidates appearing for the Mains exam to bring certain documents or items to the exam centre. These will help candidates in getting their identity verified, entry pass, and writing the Mains exam, and will be checked by invigilators at the entry gate. Candidates must carry the following items with them:

1. A coloured or black & white printed copy of the Punjab PCS Mains Admit Card 2026.
2. A government-issued valid photo ID proof, such as Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License.
3. 2 copies of a recent coloured passport-sized photograph, similar to the one uploaded with the Punjab PCS application form.
4. 2-3 black or blue ball pens to write the Mains descriptive exam.
5. A transparent water bottle, in case invigilators allow it.

Punjab PCS Mains Exam Pattern 2026

Punjab PCS Mains Examination has a total of 7 papers, in which 2 are language papers, 1 essay paper, and 4 General Studies papers. All papers are compulsory to attempt and will be descriptive in nature. In each paper, the candidate will get 3 hours to complete. Punjab PCS Mains Exam Pattern is given below:

1. Candidates who are appearing from the PwBD category will get an extra 1 hour for each paper.
2. All question papers will be set in English. In case the candidate had opted for the Punjabi language in a paper, then the paper shall be printed in the Punjabi language.

Punjab PCS Mains 2026 Minimum Qualifying Marks

To qualify for the Punjab PCS Mains Exam 2026, candidates need to secure a minimum qualifying mark for their respective category. This is calculated by taking an aggregate of all the Main papers and each paper. The minimum qualifying marks as per the category of candidate are:
