PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out for 5138 Vacancies

Good news for graduates looking for an apprenticeship in the banking sector!! Punjab National Bank (PNB) has come up with 5138 Apprentice vacancies. The official notification with complete details has been released on 5th February 2026. Interested and eligible graduates can apply online through the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) portal from 8th February 2026 onwards.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has officially released the detailed notification for the “Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the FY 2025–26” on 5th February 2026. Through this recruitment drive, PNS is going to fill 5138 apprentice posts across various states and union territories of India.

PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Overview

The apprenticeship program by Punjab National Bank (PNB) offers young graduates an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on banking experience along with a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300 for Rural / Semi-Urban / Urban Branches and Rs. 15000 for Metro branches.

PNB Apprentice Vacancy 2026

A total of 5138 apprenticeship seats have been announced across multiple states, circles, and categories. The vacancies include reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, UR, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms.

PNB Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

All aspiring candidates must be aware of the minimum required eligibility to apply online for PNB Recruitment 2026. Candidates’ eligibility in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows:

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have completed their Graduation in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by the Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01/0/2026.
• The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/ UT should be proficient (in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of that State/UT.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

Candidates’ age should be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2006

The upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates is applicable as per the Government of India guidelines.

Candidates must keep handy the documents, including their Aadhaar card, a valid personal email ID (will be required to activate account and Login), Mobile number, passport-size photograph, and Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate while submitting the application forms. 1. Visit the official website of the Punjab National Bank i.e., www.pnbindia.in.
2. Navigate to the ‘Career/Recruitment’ section at the bottom of the homepage and find the ‘Recruitment For 5138 Posts Of Apprentices’.
3. Now, click on the Apply Online link available on the webpage and then click for new registration.
4. Complete the registration form by entering the required information, such as name, contact details, etc.
5. Upload all the required documents in the appropriate size and format as prescribed.
6. Carefully review the form and ensure that all of the information provided is correct, and save it.
7. Once completed, pay the application fees and submit the online form.
8. Now, download the PNB Apprentice application form for future reference.
