What is the Marking Scheme in Odisha D.El.Ed. CT Exam 2026?

The entrance test is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of 90 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 90 marks

• Correct Answer: 1 mark
• Incorrect Answer – 0.25 mark (Negative marking applied for every wrong attempt)
• Unattempted Questions – 0 marks (No penalty for unanswered questions)

Tie-Breaking Criteria in Odisha D.El.Ed Merit 2026

In the case of a tie or level marks of two or more contenders in the Computer-BasedTest (CBT), the following criteria will be applied by SCERT Odisha to determine and decide the final rank:

• Higher Marks in Section II – Marks achieved in respective subjects will be considered before the marks of the Teaching Aptitude
• Higher Marks in Section I – The second criterion for tie-breaking is the higher marks in Teaching Aptitude
• Age – In case of an equal number of marks, the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list.
