NTA Exam Calendar 2026-27 Released, Check UGC NET, JEE Main, CUET PG & Other Exam Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NTA Examination Calendar 2026-27 on 16 September 2026, containing the tentative schedule of examinations proposed to be conducted from December 2026 to March 2027. The calendar includes major national-level entrance and eligibility examinations such as UGC NET December Cycle, Joint CSIR UGC NET, JEE Main Session 1, NIFT Entrance Examination, CMAT and CUET PG 2027.

NTA Exam Calendar 2026-27 Out

As per the official notice, the calendar has been published to provide candidates, educational institutions and other stakeholders with an indicative schedule so that they can plan their academic and examination-related activities accordingly. Candidates should regularly visit the official NTA website and the respective examination portals for detailed notifications, application dates, city intimation slips, admit cards, answer keys and results.

Major Exams Included in NTA Calendar 2026-27

The calendar covers several examinations conducted by NTA or scheduled through its examination framework.

UGC NET December 2026

The UGC NET December Cycle 2026 is proposed to be conducted from 14 to 19 December 2026, with 20 and 21 December marked as buffer dates.

Candidates preparing for UGC NET should continue their preparation according to the syllabus and wait for the detailed examination notification for application dates and other instructions.

Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2026

The Joint CSIR UGC NET December Cycle is proposed for 20 and 21 December 2026.

The detailed examination notification and application schedule will be released separately.

JEE Main Session 1 2027

The JEE Main Session 1 examination is proposed to be conducted in January 2027. The calendar lists the examination dates as 22–24 and 28–30 January 2027, with 31 January kept as a buffer date.

Candidates preparing for JEE Main should use the calendar to plan their revision, mock tests and subject-wise preparation.

NIFT Entrance Examination 2027

The NIFT Entrance Examination is proposed to be held on 10 January 2027.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is scheduled for 7 February 2027 as per the tentative NTA calendar.

The Common University Entrance Test (Post-Graduate) 2027 is proposed to be conducted during March 2027. The calendar lists the dates as 1–5, 8, 12–20 and 24–25 March 2027, with 30–31 March marked as buffer dates.
