• Backward Tribes: Must have passed Class 6.
• Indigenous Naga Tribes: Must have passed Class 8.

Age Limit (as on 30/09/2025)

• Applicants must be between 18 and 38 years as of the advertisement date.
• Age relaxation is allowed for government employees as per official rules.

Candidates can apply for only one district based on the list of districts and tribal quota (will be uploaded on the official website as Annexure-1). Candidates must appear for all tests in the district they applied for. If candidates go to another district for tests, your application will be rejected.

Nagaland Police Constable Selection Process 2025

The selection for constables in the Nagaland Police will be based on the following stages:

• Physical/Medical Standards: Only for screening to qualify for the next stage.

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 45 marks

Candidates who meet the required Physical and Medical Standards will be allowed to take part in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET will include Running Race, Pull-Ups, Long Jump, and High Jump.

Outdoor Test

Only candidates who pass the Physical/Medical Standards can take part in the PET. You must clear all parts of PET to qualify for the written test.

• Written Examination: 40 marks
• Interview: 10 marks

Nagaland Police Constable Exam Pattern 2025

• Candidates who clear PST and PET will be called for the written exam.
• The paper will have 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 40 marks.
