Steps to Fill Kerala SET January 2025 Application Form

1. Visit the official website of the LBS Centre for Science and Technology at https://lbscentre.kerala.gov.in/.
2. On the home page find a link with the text “State Eligibility Test – SET – January -2025 – Online Registration” and click on it.
3. A new page opens up, here click on “Online Registrations”. Then you are redirected to another screen.
4. Now, tap on ” First Time Users Click Here (New Registration).
5. Enter your mobile number and then tap on the “Click Here to Verify Your Mobile Number” button.
6. Then, send OTP to your mobile number by clicking on the send OTP button. Fill in the received OTP.
7. Now proceed further by clicking on the “Click here for online registration” link.
8. Start entering all the important details including personal details, address, identity certificates, academic details, etc.
9. Proceed further to upload the essential documents and payment of examination fee.
10. Submit the application form for the Kerala SET 2025 exam.

Kerala SET Exam 2025- Application Fees

While filling out the Kerala SET January 2025 Application Form, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/NetBanking or any other online payment mode. Those belonging to general and other backward classes have to pay Rs. 1000/- as the Kerala SET 2025 exam fee.

• SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates:- Rs. 500/-

Kerala SET January 2025- Eligibility Criteria

As per the Kerala SET January 2025 Notification, candidates who have to appear Kerala SET 2025 exam candidates must have a master’s degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks and a B.Ed degree from a recognized university. However, for some subjects, there are different educational qualifications that candidates must have before appearing for the Kerala State Eligibility Test.

• Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry:- M.Sc.Ed with 50% marks or equivalent grade from any Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT.
• Botany, Zoology:- M.Sc.Ed in respective subject or M.Sc.Ed in Life Science with 50% marks or equivalent grade from any e Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT.
• Commerce, French, German, Geology, Home Science, Journalism, Latin, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Russian, Social Work, Sociology, Statistics and Syriac:- B.Ed is not required
• Biotechnology:- Master’s Degree in Biotechnology with 50% marks and B.Ed in Natural Science.
• All Subjects:- First Year PG/B.Ed candidates are not eligible to apply for Kerala SET 2024

Note:-  Candidates just need to fulfill the educational qualification requirements but there is no age limit for the Kerala SET January 2025 exam.

Kerala SET Exam Pattern 2025

Kerala SET Exam 2025- Minimum Qualifying Marks

To pass the Kerala SET January 2025 examination, candidates need to score more than the minimum qualifying marks specific to their categories. For OBC categories, the minimum qualifying marks for papers 1, and 2 is 35% each and the aggregate marks for both papers is 45%.

• General:– Paper 1, and 2 (40% each) Aggregate of Paper 1, and 2 (48%)
• OBC:- Paper 1, and 2 (35% each) Aggregate of Paper 1, and 2 (45%)
• Differently Abled/SC/ST:- Paper 1, and 2 (35% each) Aggregate of Paper 1, and 2 (40%)
