KEA AO AAO Exam Date 2026 Out, Check Official Schedule for 945 Agriculture Officer Posts

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially released the KEA AO AAO notification announcing a total of 945 Agriculture Officer (Krushi Adhikari) and Assistant Agriculture Officer (Sahayaka Krushi Adhikari) posts under two cadres, i.e., Inland (KK) and Rural Pay Commission (RPC).

As the application process is over, the officials will now conduct the Competitive Written Exam (OMR-based) and Kannada Language Test. The Kannada Language Test is scheduled to be conducted on 19th July 2026, and the written exam will be conducted on 25th July and 9th August 2026.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority is all set to conduct the Competitive Written Exam (OMR-based) and Kannada Language Test for all the eligible candidates who have applied successfully for the 945 Agriculture Officer (AO) & Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) vacancies. KEA AO AAO Eligibility Criteria 2026

For Agriculture Officer & AAO (Pay Level Rs. 85)– Candidates must have completed B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture from a recognised University.

For Agriculture Officer & AAO (Pay Level Rs. 15)- Any of the following-

1. B.Tech (Food Science and Technology)
2. B.Tech (Food Technology)
3. B.Sc. (Agri. Marketing and Cooperation)
4. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri. Marketing and Cooperation

Age Limit (as on 29 January 2026)-

  • Minimum age- 18 years (UR)
  • Maximum age- 40 years (UR)
  • One-time relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for unreserved categories

KEA AO AAO Exam Pattern 2026

Competitive Written Examination

The written examination will be conducted in offline OMR mode. Candidates must secure at least 35% aggregate marks to qualify for further stages. A negative marking of 0.25 marks (¼ mark) will be applicable for every wrong answer.
