The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is going to conduct the JPSC PCS Main Exam 2024 from 22nd to 24th June 2024. Candidates who declared qualified in the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Preliminary exam are called to appear for the main exam. Jharkhand JPSC 2024 Eligibility

The candidates willing to apply for JPSC Recruitment 2024 must be aware of the eligibility criteria required for the vacancies. As mentioned in the JPSC Notification 2024, below we have discussed the minimum eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit.

Jharkhand JPSC Education Qualification

To be eligible, a candidate must possess a degree from any of the Universities that are incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or from other educational institutions that are established by an Act of Parliament or have been declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Alternatively, the candidate should possess an equivalent qualification from a Foreign University that has been approved by the Central Government from time to time.

Jharkhand JPSC Age Limit

A candidate should have completed the minimum age of 21 years and the upper age limit for the unreserved category is 35 years. The upper age limit for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) is 35 years.

• Minimum Age – 21 years
• Maximum Age – 35 years

Jharkhand JPSC 2024 Selection Process

The final merit list will be prepared based on overall marks obtained in the Main (Written Examination) and Interview Test except marks obtained in Paper –I. The selection procedure for Jharkhand JPSC 2024 Exam consists of the following three stages-

Stage 1- Preliminary Examination: Objective type [Qualifying]

Stage 2- Mains Examination: Written Test [Scoring]

Stage 3- Interview [Scoring]

Jharkhand JPSC 2024 Exam Pattern

JPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024: The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English language. The examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. The questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).

JPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2024: For Paper 1, every candidate will have to secure a minimum of 30 marks and this paper will only be qualifying in nature. Marks scored in Paper 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be counted in final selection.

Jharkhand JPSC 2024 Salary

All candidates who clear the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination and are appointed to various posts will be paid an attractive monthly salary of Rs. Rs. 53100/- to 167800/- in Grade Pay- Rs. 5400. Along with the monthly salary candidates will be provided a various allowance and perks. Check the salary details from the below table.
